Established in 1799, Montrose Rope and Sail Co Ltd is one of the oldest businesses in Montrose. Originally the company manufactured rope and hand sewn sails, mainly for the local fishing industry. Since the early 1900s the business has been run and owned by the Paton family from Montrose. |
